Orka Financial is currently recruiting for a growing business, based in Maidenhead. Our client is looking for someone to join on an interim basis for a minimum period of 6 months, with the long term potential to become permanent.
If successful, you will be working in a team of 5, including the Financial Controller, Assistant Accountant and two Accounts Assistants with full responsibility for preparing the monthly management accounts. This role has plenty of analysis as well as overseeing the work of the more junior team members. You will be fully involved with the year end preparation and adhoc reporting and and when required by the wider business.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be available on no more than one week's notice and ideally be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA). You will need to be comfortable with excel to an intermediate level (Pivot tables, VLook ups) and have a background of mentoring staff and improving reporting.
Our client work a 37.5 hour week, currently on a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. They have plenty of on site parking but are based close to good public transport links.
