Management Accountant - Permanent - Hybrid - Maidenhead - up to £45,000

FryerMiles are delighted to be partnering with an exciting client in the not-for-profit industry to assist with their recruitment of a management accountant on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working closely with the head of finance to provide data to ensure effective and timely decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely management accounts and supporting information each month.
  • Work closely with the Executive Team and Head of Finance to ensure financial accountability.
  • You'll assist with the annual budgeting process, review data (spend and forecasts) with the Heads of Finance and produce budget schedules for Committee and the Trust Board approval.
  • Support others to manage budgets, find more for less solutions and lead a cost conscious culture, ensuring sustainability for the future.
  • Ensure that processes such as Gift Aid, VAT returns and other financial actions are managed appropriately.
  • You'll ensure the Finance team and Company Secretary meet statutory responsibilities including but not limited to the annual accounts and Audit.
  • You'll carry out project work as directed by the Head of Finance
  • Deputising for the Head of Finance as required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Qualified/Part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience of financial analysis, modelling and budgeting/forecasting
  • Experience of statutory accounts production or supporting the statutory accounts process
