We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to work on our mobile data connectivity platform, SIMPro. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to step into a brand-new position where you can make a significant impact and generate real business value. We're looking for someone to join our thriving R&D community who can contribute to the maintenance and testing of our connectivity management platform and APIs.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate within an agile tech delivery team, working closely with software developers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Engage in refinement and design sessions, reviewing code to provide prompt feedback.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases, maintaining checklists to validate functionality and identify software issues.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts and testing pipelines.
- Contribute to defining and improving processes and procedures for all automated platform and application testing.
Required Skills:
- UI and API testing experience.
- Proficient in Playwright and Selenium automation.
- Java / TypeScript knowledge preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong debugging skills.
- Independent and outcome-focused.
- JIRA experience in agile environments.
- Excellent technical communication.
- Passion for learning, sharing knowledge, and problem-solving.
Desired Skills:
- CI/CD process and pipeline knowledge.
- Familiarity with Git and Jenkins.
- Load/Performance testing experience is a plus.
