The role entails visiting our settings and training employees in delivering outstanding practice and interactions to ensure all children receive the highest level of learning and care.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Early Years Education, a wealth of experience within all age groups, and hold a full and relevant childcare qualification.

The candidate should have knowledge and understanding of best practices and have previous experience at a managerial level in childcare, supported with experience and knowledge of Ofsted regulations, policies, roles, and responsibilities.

With a salary from £33,000 working 40 hours per week.

What you will be doing:Organised, motivated, professional, pro-active, able to think strategically and able to work with a range of personalities and roles. Able to mentor, coach and train employees on all levels within our childcare provisions

  • In house training on policies and procedures for new and current employees
  • In house training on interactions and best practice (show, teach, observe) for new and current employees
  • In house training on the planning of activities and embedding the curriculum for new and current employees
  • In house training for promotions
  • In house leadership training for new and current leaders
  • Professional development: Viewing employees one to one supervisions and appraisals to see if there are any targets that you can assist with training them on, equally feeding back to the site Manager on their performance and target areas
  • Induction and probation programme, ensuring all new employees coming into the company have the best start to their career.

Person Specification:• The candidate will have excellent knowledge of Early Years Education and a wealth of experience within all age groups• The candidate will hold a minimum Level 3 full and relevant childcare qualification • The candidate should have knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted regulations, policies, processes, roles, and responsibilities• The candidate should have Nursery Management experience
