I am looking to recruit an electronics design engineer for a company in the Maidenhead area. The position is hybrid, with 3 days onsite. We are looking for mid to senior level engineers covering a wide variety of skills. If you dont hit all the skills I would still be keen to talk as there is scope for training.


Responsibilities

* Generating innovative product concepts and solutions.

* Investigate new technologies.

* Electrical design from concept through to production.

* Schematic capture, simulation, PCB layout.

* Embedded software development in C.

* Perform design validation testing.

* Internal and external EMC testing.

* Preparing and release of component specifications, Bill of Materials and drawings.

* Specification / development of production test equipment.

* Liaising with suppliers, purchase, quality and Manufacturing

* Managing / coordinating engineering changes and maintain detailed design records.

* Participate in field evaluations ensuring best in class cost / quality versus competitors.


Key skills and attributes

* The candidate will have completed a degree in electronics engineering.

* Ability to debug PCBs down to component level from schematics.

* Self-starter with can do attitude.

* Analytical approach

* Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Must have a relevant engineering qualification


Preferable skills

* Some Experience in infra-red detection systems, RF Design and telecoms.

* PCB layout

* Experience with Mechatronics

* Ability to create

* MISRA C
