Overview
This leading gaming company are seeking a Finance Process Analyst to play a critical role in documenting and evaluating financial processes, with a focus on capturing the current "as is" state and designing the future "to be" state. Collaborating with Financial Controls Managers and the Transformation team, this role will support the design, assessment, and implementation of process improvements to align with organisational goals and compliance standards. The role requires exceptional organisational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to build strong partnerships to drive successful finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Document and analyse current end-to-end "as is" financial processes, creating process flows and narratives while identifying inefficiencies and inconsistencies.
- Partner with the Transformation team to design future "to be" processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Work with Financial Controls Managers to evaluate mapped processes for risks, controls, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs with stakeholders to gain detailed insights.
- Collaborate with IT and system owners to identify optimisation opportunities within existing systems.
- Validate process documentation through data analysis.
- Present and secure stakeholder agreement on proposed processes.
- Produce high-quality, concise deliverables that present complex information clearly.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date documentation to ensure easy access and version control.
- Provide regular progress reports to relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent process analysis experience.
- Strong expertise in documenting and analysing financial processes.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio).
- Knowledge of risk and control frameworks.
- Experience in transformation projects or change management initiatives.
- Proven ability to work with international and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to non-specialists.
