Job Description: Treasury Analyst

Position Title: Treasury Analyst

Location: Maidenhead

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Overview:

The Treasury Analyst will play a key role in managing the financial resources of the organisation, optimising cash flow, and mitigating financial risk. This individual will be responsible for cash management, forecasting, financial modelling, and supporting the company's liquidity needs while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing updates of daily cash and cash flow forecasting models.
  • Prepare and distribute daily cash reports and weekly cash flow forecasts.
  • Oversee cash flow operations, including managing revolving credit facility repayments, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Execute payments and transfers using relevant banking platforms.
  • Assist in managing FX transactions, including trading, hedge placements, FX swaps, and reporting on FX activities.
  • Bank and account consolidation across the Group.
  • Maintaining a central register of all banking mandates and accounts within the Group.
  • Expanding cash pooling strategies at core banking institutions.
  • Facilitating the repatriation of trapped cash from international subsidiaries.
  • Monitor and manage the Group Treasury mailbox, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in building and managing complex financial models using advanced Excel functions and formulae, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and SUMIFS.
  • Confident in identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements to existing processes, offering practical solutions to daily challenges.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working in a large corporate finance team, with a solid understanding of corporate financial practices.
  • A strong interest in developing a career within corporate treasury, with prior treasury experience being an advantage.
  • A driven self-starter with a passion for continuously enhancing performance and seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks.
