To be successful in this role, you must:
  • Be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
  • Confidence to aid senior management in making financial decision making
  • Support and develop the finance team
  • Have a sound knowledge of accounting standards and proven experience in financial reporting and in the preparation of management accounts, forecasts and statutory accounts
  • Be able to advise on Taxation and VAT matters
  • A passion for working in an education setting is desirable
