Reed Finance are partnered with a PE/VC backed business in Maidenhead looking to expand their FP&A function as they continue on their significant growth journey.

The newly created role of FP&A Business Partner will report into the Head of FP&A and partner extensively with Core Finance as well as the Exec and senior leadership team to provide insight and contribute towards business strategy and decision making, so will play a pivotal part in their continued growth and success.

This role will suit a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a solid background in core accounting, who has then moved into a more commercial space. You will have demonstrable experience with financial modelling, in particular 3-statement budget models, and a rounded view of balance sheets and cashflow, and strong business partnering skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of the budgeting and forecasting model
  • Presenting monthly reporting packs to the senior leadership team, providing commentary and insight
  • Maximising cost-saving initiatives and highlighting where efficiencies can be made
  • Providing oversight over current financial performance, and driving the forecasting and budgeting process
  • Partnering with C-suite stakeholder, providing analysis and supporting business decision
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

As an individual you will have exceptional work ethic and thrive in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment, understanding and appreciating the variances in terms of demand throughout financial schedules.

You will be approachable, communicate superbly, value collaboration, and have a solutions-based approach, with the ability to easily build and maintain relationships. You will be able to effectively translate financial data to non-finance professionals at all levels including C-suite, and be confident presenting board packs to senior execs.
