- Leading the preparation of accurate and timely budgets, financial forecasts, and year-end accounts.
- Delivering insightful financial analysis to senior leaders and Trustees to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensuring robust financial controls and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Supporting the implementation of a new financial accounting system to enhance operational efficiency.
- Managing and developing the Finance Team to maintain high standards of performance and accountability.
- Experience in a charity or not-for-profit organisation, with a solid understanding of SORP, Gift Aid, and VAT.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, statutory accounts preparation, and VAT reporting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop your team.
- Exceptional Excel skills, with experience in Exchequer being desirable.
