Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Lecturer in Maths to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Lecturer in Maths
The Lecturer in Maths primary responsibilities include delivering high-quality teaching and support, fostering student engagement and progression, and ensuring successful course completion.
Responsibilities extend to developing and implementing teaching programs that promote independent learning and continuous student progression. The lecturer will monitor and evaluate student progress, prepare them for exams, and manage Individual Learning Plans (ILPs). High student attendance and participation in administrative and strategic meetings are expected, alongside supporting extracurricular activities that contribute to student career and personal growth.
Required qualifications for the position include a relevant degree or vocational training, a teaching qualification or the intent to obtain one, and a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics. The role demands proven experience in teaching Maths GCSE and Functional Skills, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Adherence to the college’s policies on diversity, equality, risk management, health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection is also essential.
