We are looking for a dynamic, organised and self-motivated leader who can impact change in the borough by providing high quality employment support for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
The Employment Coach Team Lead role will play a vital role in increasing employment opportunities for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism, breaking down barriers and promoting inclusion in the workplace. You will need to be creative, adaptable and driven to support the team to make meaningful impact on people’s lives.
As an Employment Coach Team Lead, you will proactively work with clients to develop their employment skills, both in practical and office settings. This will include supporting clients in discovering their employment skills and abilities, identifying bespoke employment opportunities and pathways, preparing for interviews and enable empowering decision making for clients.
You will be responsible for upskilling colleagues within the team through structured supervisions, appraisals and probations. Working alongside the senior team, you will act as a positive role model for all. You will lead by example with Optalis Core values and Supported Employment Model, providing support, advice and guidance to support the development of team members and a sustainable high-quality service.
