RoleResponsibilities:

  • RepresentstheSystemsdisciplineasaseniormember/leadsSEforthetotalityoftheSystemsassignedworkpackagesandtaskingtodeliverobligationsandcommitmentsontimeandbudget
  • SupportstheEngineeringProjectLeadindeliveringtheengineeringobligationsofaproject,totheagreedplans,budgetandschedule
  • DevelopSystemsEngineeringartefacts,asrequired,acrosstheproductdevelopmentlifecycle,toresultinapositiveprojectoutcome
  • Responsibleforthecontributingtowardsthedesign,developmentanddeliveryoftheSystemsEngineeringartefactsforoneormoreprojectstoensurehighqualitydeliverables
  • Providetechnicaldirectionandexerttechnicalinfluenceacrossnumerousprojectworkpackages,orprojects,suchthattheoptimalapproach,architecture,design,andimplementationareselected
  • Workcloselywiththesystem,hardware,firmwareandsoftwarearchitectstoensureconsistency,designformodularityandre-use,andtechnicalexcellence

EssentialExperience:

  • SignificantexperienceandafullunderstandingofSystemsEngineering,theV-Modelandassociatedprocesses/lifecycles
  • TechnicalandLinemanagementexperienceofateamofsystemsengineers
  • Experienceinwritinghighqualitytechnicaldocumentationandtheformaltechnicalreviewofsuchmaterial
  • SubstantialknowledgeofSystemEngineeringpractices,methodologies,processes,techniquesandtechnologytrends
  • ExperienceofDOORS,UML,SEBoK,EnterpriseArchitectandSysML.
