Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the onboarding process for new EDI partners, including SAP setup and testing.
- Test inbound and outbound transmission of EDI documents as well as other formats to make sure specifications are followed per the requirements of the client.
- Collaborate with the managed service provider to ensure seamless integration and communication between external partners and our SAP system.
- Work closely with MS provider to resolve EDI-related issues, providing support to both internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain documentation related to EDI processes, configurations, and partner specifications.
- Collaborate with the EDI Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of EDI standards (e.g. EDIFACT, ANSI X12).
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in an EDI or IT support role is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of EDI mapping and translation software.
- Experience with managed service providers for EDI.
- Understanding of supply chain processes and terminology.
