A full UK driving license is essential for this role.The Mechanical Fitter will ideally have the following attributes:

Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Technician, or similar role.
Strong hands-on mechanical skills, including fitting, assembly, and maintenance.
Experience working with mechanical components such as gears, bearings, and hydraulics.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving license is essential due to travel requirements.

The Mechanical Fitter role will involve:

Assembling, fitting, and maintaining mechanical components and systems.
Working from technical drawings to complete mechanical builds.
Inspecting and testing mechanical assemblies to ensure quality and functionality.
Identifying and resolving mechanical faults and issues.
Collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Occasionally traveling to customer sites for installation, servicing, or maintenance.
