In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a diverse range of IT systems and equipment. You will primarily be based at their Head Office but will also travel to various project sites.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-site surveys to assess connectivity and network requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand IT package specifications.
- Oversee the procurement and preparation of necessary IT equipment.
- Test equipment and software applications during installation setups.
- Supervise the installation of IT infrastructure, including cabling and equipment setup.
- Provide training to construction site staff on installed equipment and offer ongoing support.
- Manage incidents escalated from the helpdesk and liaise with internal teams.
- Maintain optimal availability of IT resources and ensure security compliance.
- Assist in the administration of Microsoft 365 and deployment of applications.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to the development of best practices.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment as an IT Service Engineer or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience in configuring and managing network devices, including routers and switches.
- Familiarity with cloud services and understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Project management skills to effectively delegate tasks and monitor progress.
- Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+, Microsoft Certification.
- Full clean UK driving license and enhanced DBS check.
