This role is perfect for an organized and proactive individual with warehouse experience and a valid forklift license.The Storesperson will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role.
  • valid standard forklift license is essential.
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems or related software.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams and suppliers.
The Storesperson role will involve:
  • Managing and organizing stock within the warehouse to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operating a forklift to load, unload, and move goods safely.
  • Conducting regular stock checks and updating inventory records.
  • Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring timely delivery of materials to the relevant departments.
  • Receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Assisting with stock control, including reordering items as needed.
  • Collaborating with the purchasing and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
