MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Teacher – Flexible Supply Roles – Maidenhead

Position Type: Day-to-Day Supply

Salary: £125 - £185 per day

Location: Maidenhead, Holyport, White Waltham and Cox Green.

Are you a skilled MFL teacher with a passion for inspiring students to learn new languages? We are currently looking for experienced MFL teachers for flexible supply positions across Maidenhead, Holyport, White Waltham and Cox Green.  Whether you have experience teaching in the UK or internationally, this is an excellent opportunity to expand your teaching experience and bring your unique perspective to secondary classrooms.

This role is perfect for MFL teachers who enjoy variety in their work and are eager to help students develop their language skills. You will step into classrooms on short notice, deliver engaging lessons, and maintain a positive, productive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging and dynamic lessons in French, Spanish, or German (or a combination of languages).
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create an environment that supports student learning.
  • Provide support to students in completing classwork and ensure they stay engaged.
  • Report back to teachers and school leadership about student progress and classroom conduct.
  • Follow the school’s policies, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in secondary education.
  • Experience teaching MFL, either in the UK or abroad
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to the needs of different students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
  • A flexible and enthusiastic attitude, ready to step into new teaching environments.
