An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm with offices in and around the Berkshire area. They are a full-service law firm that are seeking a Solicitor with a good understanding of the market to the ability to take on an existing varied caseload whilst also undertaking business development.
Duties will include:
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply agreements, distribution agreements, service agreements, and terms & conditions.
- Identify, assess, and manage legal risks for clients, in the context of contractual relationships, commercial transactions, and compliance matters.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Conduct due diligence on commercial contracts within corporate transactions.
- Conduct legal research into relevant laws and regulations.
- Active involvement within business development
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Commercial Solicitor fee earning experience essential 2-6 years PQE.
- Have very high level of technical competence
- Marketing and business development skills
- Proven track record of meeting targets
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Sound legal knowledge within the processes
