Job Title: Conveyancing Solicitor

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

About the Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor with 2+ years PQE to join their friendly, professional team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Leasehold and Freehold conveyancing and will play an integral role in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled solicitor to further their career in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including Freehold and Leasehold matters.
  • Advise clients on the legal aspects of buying, selling, and remortgaging residential properties.
  • Draft and review contracts, transfer documents, and leases.
  • Conduct property searches and enquiries and advise clients accordingly.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other professionals to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Handle post-completion matters including registration with the Land Registry and Stamp Duty Land Tax.
  • Keep clients informed of progress and manage their expectations throughout the transaction.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in Conveyancing.
  • Solid experience in handling Freehold and Leasehold transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of residential property law, including the Land Registration Act, Stamp Duty Land Tax, and general conveyancing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also manage own workload independently.
