- A degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.).
- Proven experience working on projects within the clean water or wastewater sectors, including treatment plants.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, valves, pipelines, and other equipment used in water treatment systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as WIMES.
- Knowledge of mechanical installation and commissioning processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Designing, developing, and specifying mechanical systems for clean water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Producing detailed drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure designs meet client and industry requirements.
- Conducting site visits to oversee installations, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during project execution.
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize system performance and reduce costs.
- Providing technical support to clients and other team members.
