An experienced Logistics Coordinator (Indian language preferred) has arisen for our client a small but respected Logistics provider based in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The Logistics Coordinator will act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries and resolving operational challenges. Will also provide regular updates to customers regarding Shipment status and potential delays. To manage customer complaints and implement corrective measures to enhance service quality. The main duties will be:

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics process, including booking shipments, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers to secure space and competitive rates.
  • Monitor shipment progress and pro actively address any issues or delays.
  • Ensure adherence to customs and regulatory compliance for both domestic and international shipments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.

Proven experience within Freight Forwarding, Logistics or related industries is essential and have a strong understanding of Exports, Imports, Air, Ocean and Road Freight Operations. You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of Customs Clearance procedures will be an advantage and must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Logistics Software/Tools. A problem solving mindset with a customer-centric approach. 2 Years experience in Freight Forwarding or the Logistics sector and familiar with Incoterms, International Trade regulations and Shipping Documentation.
