An outstanding primary school in Maidenhead is looking to recruit a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role is ideal for graduates or experienced teaching assistants who are eager to gain hands-on experience with children who have Complex Learning Needs, including Autism and mental health challenges.

What the Role Involves:

  • Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students with behavioral and learning needs.
  • Assisting students with Autism, mental health difficulties, and challenging behavior.
  • Encouraging positive behavior strategies and emotional regulation.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a nurturing learning environment.
  • Offering valuable classroom support to help pupils meet their educational goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • A confident, motivated individual with a passion for supporting children's education.
  • A graduate with a 2:2 degree or above (Psychology or related fields are advantageous).
  • Previous experience working with SEN children or managing challenging behavior is desirable.
  • Strong communication and behavior management skills.
  • An individual who is enthusiastic, resilient, and committed to making a difference.

  • Position: Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant

  • Salary: £83 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)
  • Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
