Academics LTD are working with a specialist school in Maidenhead who provide highly skilled personal care for children aged 5 to 18 with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The school is looking for a compassionate and positive Emotional / Behavioural Teaching Assistant. The position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience working alongside qualified SEN practitioners and psychologists.

Emotional / Behavioural Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Close work with external practitioners and psychologists
  • Understanding of Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Helping students develop emotional regulation and social skills
  • Demonstrated Interest in working with children or in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Proactive, calm, resilient

Recognised qualifications include Degree, Level 3 qualifications + or any other experience working with SEN children.
