A specialist school near Maidenhead is looking for a recent Psychology or Criminology graduate to join their dedicated team and support students managing social, emotional, and mental health needs. This is an excellent role for a graduate aiming for a future career in psychology, with a genuine passion for helping children with psychological challenges.

The students at this school come from a variety of backgrounds, with some facing difficulties related to trauma, anxiety, attachment issues, and neglect. They need assistance in processing their emotions and developing strategies to manage them independently. As a supportive team member, you will play a vital role in helping them build emotional resilience and self-regulation skills.

Your role will involve collaborating with the class teacher and experienced staff members to provide both classroom and one-on-one support. You'll assist in managing challenging behaviors, keeping students focused, and identifying triggers related to their mental health needs.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting children with additional psychological needs. You will have the chance to employ therapeutic techniques, restorative practices, and work alongside Psychologists and Therapists within the school, providing a unique and enriching professional experience.
