The role as an ABA Assistant:

• Your main duty as an ABA assistant will be to support the students in the classroom - this may be on a 1:1 basis or in a small group
• You will facilitate a safe learning environment and help with the children access their learning in a positive way
• You will be supported by the class teacher and have the advantage of being exposed to a variety of different therapeutic techniques and other professionals
• The class sizes are small so you will have the opportunity to give each child the attention they deserve

The successful Therapy Assistant:

• Will be calm, passionate about making a difference and positive
• Will have some experience working with children
• Will understand the importance of safeguarding
• Will have a DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one
