This is an amazing specialist school, highly regarded in their area. They cater for children who have a primary diagnosis of Autism. They focus on helping these children access their education in the same way as their mainstream peers and facilitate ways that encourage learning and engagement in the classroom. Each child has an individualised plan and curriculum and the settings is highly organised with personalised and specific intervention plans.

They facilitate and focus on providing specialist education, where educators and the multi-disciplinary team provide personalised and specific interventions to support learning. This school offer a supportive environment where you will be making a difference day in and out. Not only will you be taking part in really rewarding work, you will also be adding valuable experience to your CV. This is a fantastic route to go down if you are looking at becoming an educational psychologist, counsellor or clinical psychologist.

As a ABA Tutor you will be facilitating and providing specific interventions to aid in the children's learning. You will facilitate a safe and secure environment for learning to take place. You will encourage students to achieve the best they can academically, while also adding to their personal growth. You will keep track of their academic achievements. You must have a good understanding of the importance of safeguarding children in education.

Being kind, caring and compassionate, having a determination to make a difference in the lives of the students is especially important t the school looking to hire. Being patient and willing to adapt your approach to meet the needs of the students is also key. Experience working with children and especially children with SEN will be advantageous but not essential. You will need an enhanced DBS check, but don't worry if you don't have one, we can facilitate your application.
