What You'll Be Doing
- Commercial Responsibility: Take charge of tracking and collecting rebates to ensure they are accurate and paid promptly.
- Onboarding New Suppliers: Oversee the full onboarding process for new suppliers, from assessing requirements to completing the application process.
- Reporting: Analyze procurement trends using internal reporting tools to drive informed decisions.
- Promote Best Practices: Drive the adoption of preferred supplier routes across the business.
- Inbox Management: Support the internal sales team by managing a busy inbox and providing timely responses.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with both UK and multinational supply chains to drive efficiency and growth.
- Growth Opportunities: This role offers the potential for career progression, with opportunities to move into Supplier Development and Performance Management roles as you develop.
What We Need From You
- Previous experience in Procurement, Operations or Sourcing
- A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure the best outcomes.
- Experience running reports and analysing data, particularly with Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- A solid understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
