Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of both residential and commercial projects. Main responsibilities

• Take off and procurement of materials
• Take off and procurement of subcontractor packages
• Compare and analysis subcontractor tender returns and issue recommendations to the commercial manager.
• Compiling, issuing and agreeing estimates with the design team
• Subcontractor enquires and management, inclusive of valuations, payment certificates etc
• Compiling, issuing and agreeing monthly client valuations and accounts.
• Compiling monthly cost reports to commercial manager
• Attending design team meetings
• Attending site to capture variations, ensuring CVI are captured and monitor working sequence
• Assisting with compilation of extension of time claims

Main requirements

• HNC in construction or relevant degree level qualification
• Have a good understanding of commercial and residential construction
• Have minimum 5 years experience as a QS for a main contractor
