About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Project Surveyor to join our Asset Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering fire safety-related projects such as the installation of sprinklers, loft compartmentation, and external wall remediation works. You will identify fire risks, coordinate with external advisors, and ensure all fire safety projects meet the required standards.
Key responsibilities include managing contracts, issuing orders, verifying valuations, authorising payments, handling delays, and leading progress meetings. You will also play a vital role in contributing to the development of specifications and standards, particularly regarding fire safety products and compliance.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience managing fire-related projects.
- Expertise in leading contract management and building repairs or renovation projects.
- A professional qualification (HNC/HND in Building Surveying, CIOB, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and legislation.
- A solid understanding of residential building structures and fire safety principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent time management skills.
A full UK driving licence, access to a roadworthy car insured for business use, and the ability to provide a satisfactory basic DBS certificate are required.
