Nursery Manager
We are working with an independent day nursery who are currently recruiting for a Nursery Manager for their nursery setting in Maidenhead.
The successful candidate will preferably have a minimum of 18 months nursery management experience, demonstrating a sound working knowledge of both the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted Standards.
Position Details
Your role:
- Overseeing the monitoring, planning, and development of the nursery setting
- Promoting and ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment
- Supporting and promoting equality and diversity throughout all areas of care and practice
- Supervising, supporting and reviewing staff development and performance
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery
You will ideally have:
- Early Years Degree or relevant childcare qualification such as CACHE, NVQ, NNEB or recognised
- A minimum 18 months nursery management experience
- A sound understanding of the Ofsted standards and requirements
- Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations
What the position offers:
