Paint Shop Manager

A leading manufacturer is looking for an experienced Paint Shop Manager to oversee its paint operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a production manager with expertise in paint applications, production planning, and data analysis to join a strong, well-established team.

About the Role:
As the Paint Shop Manager, you’ll be responsible for directing and optimizing the paint shop team’s activities, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely. Working alongside a skilled team, you’ll focus on continuous improvement within the paint shop, enhancing productivity and quality while maintaining established processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the production plan to meet on-time delivery and performance targets.
- Leading the paint and prep team, coordinating schedules, and monitoring progress.
- Collaborating with senior operations to identify and resolve production challenges.
- Ensuring adherence to safety standards and maintaining a high-quality work environment.
- Managing inventory and overseeing the upkeep of all paint equipment.

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven management experience within a paint or coating environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a team to meet KPIs.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities with a data-driven approach to process improvement.
- Strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations in a manufacturing setting.
