A wonderful school in Maidenhead are looking for a Child Support Worker. The school hiring are looking to employ an individual who is patient, passionate about education and looking to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
The role is to start ASAP.
What you would do as a Child Support Worker:
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement specialised learning and intervention plans
- Foster trusting and supportive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and resilience
- Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting trust and emotional safety
- Help students identify and express their emotions in a healthy manner
The successful Child Support Worker:
- Patience, empathy and genuine passion for supporting children
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Understand the importance of safegurding children in education
A good platform for aspiring psychologists, therapists and counsellors still busy with their studies or individuals looking to gain experience in the classroom.
Graduates in a related field are encouraged to apply.
You must have eligibility to work in the UK. You must have a DBS or be willing to obtain one.
