This amazing specialist school in Maidenhead are looking for an emotional support worker to join their team starting asap. They are looking for someone who is positive, patient and proactive.

The school looking for an emotional support worker are highly regarded and make sure to prioritise their students progress and well-being. They place a huge focus on ensuring mental health well-being and want their students to be given the best tools to maintain good coping skills.

The students at this school have been identified as struggling with social, emotional and mental health needs. They have been through adverse childhood experiences and need additional support to ensure that they are able to follow through with their interventions while at the same time, keep up with their academic work load.

These students will have specialised interventions to support their mental health struggles and encourage them to do well academically. The interventions and therapeutic practices also encourage emotional regulation and mental health support.

As an emotional support worker, you will need to be patient, take initiative, have good communication skills, be able to work well in a team and have a genuine passion for supporting students.

This role as an emotional support worker will not only allow you to make a real difference in the lives of those most vulnerable, it will also add valuable experience to your CV and help you build good foundational skills should you wish to pursue a career in the education or psychology fields.
