About Us:

We are a compassionate and supportive care provider dedicated to improving the lives of individuals who require tailored care. We are currently looking for a dedicated 1:1 Support Worker to join our team and provide personalized 1:1 support.

Opportunities available:

1) Friday evenings 1800-2200 - supervising and transporting a very able young man who has Autism to access an evening social group. Collect/drop off client in Maidenhead (Social club is in Wokingham for which mileage is paid).

2) Alternate Saturdays 1000-1300 or 1200-1500 - supervising and transporting a very able young man who has learning disabilities to access activities of his choice. Collect/drop off client in Maidenhead (all activities are local in the Maidenhead area).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual support to service users in community settings
  • Assist with accessing community activities
  • Promote independence and encourage positive social interactions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met
  • Work closely with families and/or professionals to ensure consistent and high-quality care

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • A caring, empathetic, and patient approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently on a 1:1 basis
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the service user
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
  • A full UK driving license, use of a vehicle with business insurance.
