Academics LTD is working with a specialist school in Maidenhead that provides exceptional care and support for children aged 5 to 18 with additional needs, including Autism and complex behavioral challenges. They are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Autism Specialist to join their team.

Applicants with a background in Psychology or experience working with SEN children are strongly encouraged to apply. However, prior experience isn't essential-enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine passion for working with young people are most important.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with Autism, sensory processing needs, and communication difficulties.
  • Help children develop emotional regulation and social skills.
  • Collaborate with experienced practitioners, therapists, and psychologists.
  • Build a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
  • Remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations.
