Academics LTD is partnering with a specialist school in Maidenhead that provides tailored, high-quality care for children aged 5 to 18 with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The school is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Autism Specialist. Applicants with a Psychology background are especially encouraged to apply to join their team.

As part of your role as an Autism Specialist, you will work closely with experienced SEN practitioners and psychologists, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Helping students develop emotional regulation and social skills
  • Close collaboration with external practitioners and psychologists
  • Keen interest in working with children or in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Resilience, calmness under pressure, and the ability to engage effectively with children
