An excellent Primary school in Maidenhead is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to enhance their experience with Special Educational Needs and Behavioural Needs. A graduate with a 2:2 or above is ideal for this role, and some previous experience working with SEN children is desirable. The position involves working 1:1 with pupils with Special Needs and Challenging Behaviour in the school. The Learning Support Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who have mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviours, and have learning disabilities such as Autism.

The primary school is conveniently located near Maidenhead train station, and parking is available on-site. This school is looking for confident and dedicated Teaching Assistants who are enthusiastic and passionate about their contribution to a child's education. Ideally, the successful candidate will possess excellent behaviour management skills and preferably some form of restraint training.
