Pay Rates: £22.89 per hour

Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours Mon - Fri between 8.00-4.00/8.30-4.30/9-5pm (part-time considered 3 days minimum)

The BHFT CYPIT service is an integrated Children’s Therapy service, shaped around the needs of the child and family. We are structured within integrated teams, based around a locality area of Berkshire, and work closely together where appropriate, to ensure we have the greatest therapeutic impact, working either directly or through other people.

In this role you will be required to:

  • Visit schools and assess CYP’s needs
  • Provide high quality reports and therapy plans as well as advice and strategies to school staff
  • Plan and manage your own caseload and interventions, and support/supervise the planning of caseload management of Band 5 and other junior staff members within the designated locality area

What you’ll need:

  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
  • Registered with HCPC
  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
  • An understanding of the diverse needs of children and young people
  • Car for community work

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
