About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Procurement Specialist to join our EMEA Procurement team. In this role, you will focus on indirect procurement categories with a strong emphasis on project management, contracting, and analytics. Working closely with key stakeholders across various business units, you will play a crucial role in driving cost reduction strategies and implementing effective procurement plans.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional with a proven track record in procurement, excellent interpersonal skills, and a drive for creativity and innovation to enhance financial and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support supplier selection, tendering, negotiations, and supplier consolidation efforts.
  • Implement critical contracts and manage supplier performance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic spend analysis and market evaluation.
  • Improve procurement processes and provide insightful reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQ) and coordinate competitive bidding to secure the best value for goods and services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in procurement with a strong focus on cost savings.
  • Experience in project management and influencing within a matrix organization.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience managing national and international suppliers.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European language skills are an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial fundamentals and business control policies.
  • Proactive, open-minded, and enthusiastic with a passion for procurement.
