We have reached the stage in our growth where we need an additional member of our Senior Team - this is a brand-new role. As we continue to grow, it’s vital that we align our supply chain & purchasing efforts across the group to leverage our global relationships. This is a key strategic role within the organization as we continue our international expansion.

Headquartered in the UK, MCFT currently operates in 9 countries, with more following every year. Specialists in foodservice equipment maintenance, MCFT has built trusted relationships with all the major manufacturers and suppliers in the industry and is seeking to further develop those relationships. This role will grow with the ambitious plans for the business.

Location: Maidenhead, UK

Reporting to: CEO

Responsible for: Dotted line responsibility for all territory-specific procurement functions

Salary: £65,000+ per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Key procurement relationships with all major, international OEM’s
  • Development of supply chain for spare parts
  • Development of processes to ensure appropriate stock levels on vans & in territory
  • Development of territory teams, systems and reporting
  • Supply Chain Management - development of monitoring systems, management of suppliers in line with frameworks
  • Negotiation of discount & rebate agreements
  • Negotiation and monitoring of non-recharged expenses (rent, utilities, vehicles)
  • Audit - from inventory to processes
  • Analysis and reporting: weekly, monthly - from turn and non-moving to margins
  • Sustainability initiatives, monitoring of roadmap

Experience:

  • Procurement responsibility over £5mn
  • Driving efficiency, return on costs
  • Team management
  • Process management
  • Sustainability
  • LSS & Continuous Improvement Initiatives (preferable)
  • Food service industry (preferable)
