Alecto Recruitment is thrilled to present an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a prestigious main dealer located in Maidenhead. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
Position: Vehicle Technician
Location: Maidenhead
Working Hours:
- 5-day working week (8-hour days)
- 1 in 5 weekends required
Salary: 30,000 to 40,000 + Bonuses & Overtime
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles to the highest standards.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately within dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
- Carry out vehicle inspections and MOT tests (if qualified).
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or independent garage.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair).
- MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with automotive systems and technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Valid UK driving license.
