Our client, a modern Chartered Accountancy Practice near Maidstone, is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their team.
Candidates must have recent Practice experience and be competent in drafting year-end accounts.
The role involves preparing statutory accounts, reviewing VAT returns, and assisting with audits, offering a variety of client interactions.
This position is ideal for those studying AAT or ACCA/ACA and looking to advance in their career.

They are looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience within Practice, looking to take the next step in their career.As Accounts Semi-Senior you will work with clients from a range of industries – mainly limited companies but there may be some sole traders. Your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing year end statutory accounts and tax calculations
Reviewing and preparing VAT returns
Checking client bookkeeping and helping them with queries
Monthly management accounts
Assisting on audits

In order to be considered candidates must have recent Practice experience and be competent in drafting year end accounts. The role involves a lot of client contact so you will be confident to talk to clients and HMRC. This is ideal for someone studying AAT or ACCA/ACA.This is a great opportunity to take a step up with a mid-size firm who can provide exposure to a range of large and complex clients.
