Accounts Technician / Accounts Senior – Business Services Team

The Role:As an Accounts Technician / Accounts Senior in the Business Services team, you will play a pivotal role in producing client accounts, delivering high-quality services, and producing high quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing year-end accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
  • Supporting junior staff with training and development.
  • Liaising directly with clients to ensure smooth communication and problem-solving.
  • Working closely with senior managers and partners on client advisory projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in an accountancy practice environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement.
