Description
Duties include tasks such as:
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to the management team
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with the year-end audit process
- Conduct financial analysis and report on variances
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Help maintain financial systems and processes
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects within the Accounting & Finance department
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Ideally be studying towards a professional accounting qualification
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other financial software
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Good organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
