Description
As the Financial Controller, you will report to the Hub Financial Controller and will be responsible for overseeing financial operations across multiple locations, ensuring seamless integration of acquired businesses, and enhancing financial control within the region. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing cash flow, revenue, and cost control across 30+ operational locations.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis with detailed commentary.
- Centralising financial functions to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Leading M&A onboarding and financial integration processes.
- Partnering with senior leadership to provide strategic insights and financial reporting.
- Leading the regional finance team and ensuring alignment with the Group model.
- Managing tax compliance, financial regulations, and working capital cycles
Profile
The ideal candidate for this Financial Controller position will match the following description:
- Significant post-qualification experience, in a similar position, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Outstanding financial controls experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a multi-entity structure.
- Strong background in the onboarding and integration of new entities into a group structure / finance centralisation.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to deliver actionable insights.
- Experience managing high-performing finance teams in a fast-paced, acquisitional environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, transfer pricing, and financial controls.
Job Offer
- Base salary range of £70-80,000
- Hybrid working model - Flexibility to work between home and the office, but this is not a remote role.
