An exciting opportunity has opened for a Financial Controller at a very well-established organisation based in the Mid-Kent area. You'll have complete responsibility for the Finance department and will be reporting to the Directors of the business.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of annual Budgets and Forecasts
  • Preparation of Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts
  • Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Managing the finance team and overseeing aspects such as Credit Control
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, HMRC, Companies House

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar position
  • Be AAT qualified as a minimum
  • Be approachable and sociable 
  • Have advanced Excel knowledge
  • Need to drive due to the location
