Description
As Financial Controller you will report to the board (which includes a fractional CFO), and will look after all elements of day to day finance management, including managing a small team.
The remit includes:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
- Managing the cash position, bank relationships and credit cards
- Overseeing the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control
- Managing monthly payroll
- Preparing budgets and forecasts with associated commentary
- Preparation of KPI and MI data to complement operational performance
- Maintain the asset register
Profile
The ideal candidate for this Financial Controller position will be qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or potentially qualified by experience, and have gained experience in a similar environment (restaurants, catering, hospitality, events, exhibitions, weddings etc)
You will have strong ability to manage the overall function, and to allocate costs to the relevant events.
You must be proactive, hands on, and willing to get involved in a role beyond finance for the success of the company.
