Robertson Bell are supporting our client to recruit an Interim Finance Officer on an initial three-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension and even permanent employment. The head office is based in Kent, offering a hybrid working pattern, asking for the successful candidate to come into office three days a week.
The Interim Finance Officer’s key responsibilities will include:
- Manage a property portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate rent postings across all units
- Oversee accounts payable by handling invoicing, logging payments, and coordinating monthly payment runs
- Serve as the main point of contact for key suppliers, addressing queries and maintaining strong relationships
- Support bank reconciliations and assist in the seamless execution of month-end and year-end closing processes
The Interim Finance Officer will have:
- Experience with rent charges or the ability to confidently manage the responsibilities outlined above
- Proficient in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliations
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with minimal supervision and as a team player
- Comfortable using Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for data extraction and postings
