Management Accountant

Reed Accountancy & Finance is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant on behalf of our client in Mereworth. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and bring their expertise to a dynamic and supportive team to support our client on a 6 month contract.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Analysis of financial performance and contribution to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
• Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
• Budgeting and variance analysis to support business decisions.
• Liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context.
• Overseeing accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Managing and mentoring junior staff within the accounts department.

• Proven experience in a Management Accountant role or similar.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance personnel.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience obtained from a similar Management Accountant role, be within commutable distance to our client in Mereworth, be able to work in our client’s office, and be available to start work immediately.
